FAQs

Answers to the most frequently asked questions.

How do I get a quote?

The easiest method for quoting a tumbler or conveyor is to send us a form message on the CONTACT page. Include the model that you're looking for and we'll send over an estimate including freight as soon as possible.

Once I receive an quote, what is required to order?

We require a 50% deposit to get your order on the production schedule. The remainder is due when your tumbler ships or is picked up.

What is the lead time?

We typically run 4-6 weeks on most orders, however, that can vary depending on the demand for our products. Large orders or custom orders may take longer.

What hole size should I use?

For oysters in the growing stage, we recommend the hole size should be twice the size of the mesh in the bag. An example would be if you have seed that's going from a 4mm bag to a 9mm bag. You would want the oyster to go past at least an 18mm hole, but it's better to go slightly bigger. For that reason, we would typically recommend a 3/4" hole (19.05mm).

A typical 3" eastern oyster is about 2" wide so we recommend a 2" final hole, a smaller oyster would use a smaller hole(2.5" oyster = 1.75" hole). You can then work backwards using the mesh bag sizes to determine the other size holes you may need.
